WORM-GRO™ is a scientifically complete earthworm food. WORM-GRO™ has the essential vitamins, protein and carbohydrates that are needed for capsule production and growth of young worms. There are no harmful chemicals in WORM-GRO™.

For best results the breeding bins should be at least 10 inches deep. Gently turn your worms bedding once a week. This is very important since worms need oxygen. Prior to feeding WORM-GRO™, make sure that the bedding is moist. Lightly spray bedding, it should be damp not soggy. DO NOT mix WORM-GRO™ in bedding, your worms will come to the surface and feed much like they would do in nature.

DO NOT overfeed your worms. We recommend feeding 3-4 times a week. During cooler months reduce to 1-2 times a week. Make sure that the worms have consumed all of the feed before you feed again.

We strongly recommend that you use either WORM-GRITS™ or ground Calcium Carbonate each time you feed your worms. This does several things: it provides the grit that worms need to digest their food, it helps maintain the proper PH of the bedding and it will help to control mites which will compete with the worms for the food. Simply sprinkle the entire surface of the worm bin with the grit after feeding.
